Career Overview

    Columbus Short, an award-winning actor and choreographer, launched his career in his teens by starring in TV commercials. He graduated early from high school to join the touring production of STOMP. After several years on the road with the show, he worked as a choreographer for Britney Spears.

    Short’s acting debut came in 2004 with his role as a dancer in You Got Served. He also appeared in Accepted and Save the Last Dance 2. Short went on to act in movies like Cadillac Records alongside Beyonce Knowles and Adrien Brody, and Whiteout starring alongside Kate Beckinsale. He has been cast as "Pooch" in the film The Losers based on the graphic novel.

    The action-packed thriller Armored is Short’s latest project. A new guard for an armored truck company is coerced by his coworkers to steal a truck containing $42 million until their plan goes awry in a deadly twist.
