Career Overview

    British born actress Alice Eve developed a passion for acting a young age. The daughter of famous British actors Trevor Eve and Sharon Maughan, Eve was surrounded by actors her entire life. She didn’t start acting however until she was in school at St. Catherine’s College in Oxford. She appeared in productions of “An Ideal Husband,” “Animal Crackers,” “Scenes From An Execution,” and “The Color of Justice.” While still in college Eve got an agent and was cast in 2004s romantic drama Stage Beauty and appeared in the TV movie “Hawking.” She also won roles in the TV dramas The Rotter’s Club, and Poirot.

    2006 brought Eve roles in two films, Starter for 10 and Big Nothing, and a mini series about backpackers, Losing Gemma. She also appeared plays directed by Trevor Nunn, including Rock ‘n’ Roll, for which she was nominated for best supporting actress at the Whatsonstage.com Theatregoers’ Choice Awards and later played in Cyrano de Bergerac at the Chichester Festival Theatre as Roxanne.

    Currently Eve is starring in two films, Sex & the City 2 and DreamWorks’ production She’s Out of My League. She’s Out of My League is a romantic comedy that tells the story of an average joe named Kirk (Jay Baruchel – Knocked Up, Tropic Thunder) who meets beautiful Molly (Eve) and starts dating her. Unfortunately his insecurities and the influence of family and friends threaten to ruin the relationship.
