Picking a major you love, regardless of salary

When I applied to the internship program in Korea, the most frequent question I was asked during the interview process was, “Why did you choose your major?”

It is a simple question, but surprisingly, many applicants hesitate when answering.

In Korea, for example, the business major is among the most popular—the average salary is attractive! So many of my friends pursue it, only to switch majors later on because they’ve realized it does not make them happy.

It’s very important to consider certain factors when choosing your career path.
