My internship experience

College students everywhere are enjoying their Winter Break, but the thought of getting an internship are in the back of their minds.

I REALLY enjoy working here. I work with awesome people (not to mention all the snacks and coffee at my disposal!) so these internship tips are based on my own experience.

The most important thing to do is set the priority of your goal. You can have a bunch of goals you want to acquire, but life is not that easy. As the American expression says, “You can’t have your cake and eat it too!” Many people end up complaining, or are disappointed because they expect too much in a short time.

Oftentimes, an internship is too short to achieve it all. Think about the most important thing you want to achieve from your time and focus on that!

Second and last, enjoy it! Soak it all in! Work hard, and love what you do. Don’t doubt what you do now; everything that you do in your internship, whether big or small, is experience you carry on with you to your next job. Enjoy it.

Have a Happy New Year!

Sincerely,

Hansol
