Relax and calm nerves before a job interview
A new semester just begins! People are already back to school drawing blueprint with throbbing heart and at the same time, anxiety. One of my Korean friends is just back to school after serving almost 2-year military service (It’s obligation for men in Korea). He told me that he is really excited to come back to school, but also very worried about his restart. Well, I understand his feeling because he should rebuild his school life again and keep up with others with heavy pressure of 2-year blank.
Hey Guys,
Just as a reminder, the film "Take Me Home Tonight" starring Topher Grace and Dan Fogler came out on DVD this week. Be sure to check out our interview with the guys when we visited American University for an old fashioned Q&A!
Approaching my second year of college, I find myself reflection on how my life was exactly one year ago. I was fresh out of high school and the world seemed to be my oyster. Basically no one could tell me anything since I finished high school (wow big accomplishment), and I thought I knew it all. Well basically what my first year taught me was that I knew nothing; and this was just the beginning of a long and confusing journey.

I’m a senior, spending my last quarter as an undergraduate attempting to navigate the humid streets of DC, and the swamplike undergrounds of the Metro.

If you are like me there are days, weeks and even months that go by where you feel like you haven’t accomplished NEARLY all of what you set out to do. On top of that, you feel like it would be almost impossible to accomplish more. Between my job, volunteer work, household chores and the occasional time with family and friends it seems like there aren’t enough hours in the day.
But I suppose that it’s time to get real, because there actually is time to get it all done. Actually, there is time to do MORE. What I need is not more time. What I need is better time management.
Salary. Money. Moo-lah. For most of us it is the reason we are working in the first place. Yes, some of us are pursuing our passions or making the world a better place . . . but that doesn't mean that the bills don't come at the end of the month. So, how can you negotiate salary for a job that you really want?
